"The One Thing" is specifically about the relationship (either romantic or platonic, but you obviously see my bias) between Tony Stark (Iron Man) and Pepper Potts from the MARVEL series. It encompasses the relationship of the two in the following genres: the movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), the comics, all the Iron Man animated series (including Marvel Anime), and the Avengers Academy game.
